Seriously, this hive thing is starting to piss me off. DS broke out into hives after I nursed him this afternoon. Since DS didn’t eat anything out of the ordinary today (I wouldn’t let him), it was me. *sigh* That means I have to be on a food lock down, too! BOOOOOOOOO!

The things I do out of love, I tell ya. LOVE.

I’m starting to think that it may not even be a food allergy. That perhaps it’s residual effects from the Varicella vaccine (the chickenpox vaccine) which can cause hives up to a month after the shot. DS got the shot about two weeks ago. Booo.

This is so stressful. 😦

Here’s the thing. It’s been three nights in a row that DS has broken out into hives. I posted it on FB and of course, when you do that, well-meaning people will post their advice (which is usually good). I also mentioned that DS was going on a food lock down and we had no idea what caused it. Well, my BIL asked me, (albeit, again, he’s very well-meaning) if DS had tried any new foods lately.

REALLY? Don’t you think that if he had tried any new foods I would’ve thought of that? Hmmmm?? *eyerolls*

DH thinks I’m an ass of monumental proportions. He just doesn’t get why things like this piss me off. I mean, logically, I know that people are well-meaning and really not trying to be insulting, but in my mind, (warped and prideful as it is), all I can think of is, “So, what you’re really saying is that you think I’m an IDIOT.”

Which isn’t what my BIL was saying, right? RIGHT? I was tempted to say, “Oh, you know what? I fed him peanuts! That’s why! Because he’s allergic to peanuts. How fucking STUPID of me.”

As I said. I’m an ass.
