I think I will have to reduce my posting schedule here to once a week (most likely on Thursdays). I may have just picked up a small copywriting job, and then I’ll be having a baby, and then I have that other blog that is gaining traction, so I may have bitten off more than I can chew. HOWEVER, since this is my anonymous blog and where I keep my updates about my kids, I definitely want to continue some sort of schedule. *sigh* Sorry such a meta paragraph. Anyhow, below are the stories that you actually want to here.

1) The kids are giving each other time outs. DD keeps saying to DS, “Two minutes! Two minutes!”

2) DS and DD are each arguing that they are funny. “I funny!” “No, I funny!” When I said they were both funny, they both laughed their fake laugh. They are hilarious.

3) DD keeps drawing “dinosaurs.” Of course they look nothing like it, but it’s cute. I think she drew at least 4-5 today.

4) DS asked me, “What’s up?” I found it too funny.

5) DS told me this morning that DD was Chris and he was Mart (as in Martin) from The Wild Kratts. It’s because she was wearing green and he was wearing blue. (Those are the Kratt brothers’ respective colors.)

6) I find it so funny that DD will roll up her leggings into shorts. For some reason, it’s very comical to me.

7) DS keeps singing 哈哈笑 (Haha Laughing Song), 火車快飛 (Fast Train Song), and 小猴子 (Little Monkey Song). I think he misses school.

8) DS keeps thinking the baby in my tummy will be his cousin, MD. (It’s because we call them all, Didi, which means, “Little Brother.”) I told him THIS baby was HIS Didi. MD Didi wasn’t his. DS told me that he doesn’t want HIS Didi. He wanted MD Didi. I don’t think he understood. DH told me to explain it to DD – she would get it. That is both mean and hilarious.

9) Induction date is all set for Monday 8/19/14. SO SOON and yet, not soon enough!

The last few days, I’ve had at least an hour of labor (obviously, now, Braxton Hicks). It’s so sad how even though this is my third baby, I have no idea what labor is. I mean, I went through labor with DS, but that was 3.5+ years ago! And for DD, I was induced and had an epidural almost immediately, so I didn’t experience ANY pain. So, when I was having contractions every 3-5 minutes for an hour yesterday, I was a little worried. We had nothing ready.

Today, I washed all the baby clothes, put in the infant car seat, and got a bunch more stuff ready. (Just in case!) All I have left is to rearrange our master bedroom (and all the toys and books) so that I can put in a pack n play. That’s about it.

2.5 more weeks before induction! I think DS2 is getting impatient. He’s is kicking the crap out of me from the insides. I thought they weren’t supposed to move around as much during the end because they have less room? I don’t think any of my kids have ever gotten that memo.

Anyhow, if you don’t see any posts for awhile, I might’ve had my baby. LOL.

Since I’m tired of constantly updating an OLD list (although as satisfying as it is to see so many items crossed off!!), I am updating my To-Do list in a new post. Aren’t you excited? Here’s where I am currently (and I’ll have you note that most of these items are waiting on OTHER people so I guess it’s not really MY to-do list per se, but it’s my job to make sure it’s done):

1) Finish Living Trust
– 6/4 – Have finally read the thing and edited it and sent to the attorney. She has to get it out of storage and look it over. Can’t imagine why she doesn’t have it completely memorized from three years ago. LOL.
– 6/12, 6/15, 6/27  – Follow up email sent to attorney. (May have to go with another attorney.)
– 6/28 – gathering items for attorney (she responded yesterday)
– 6/29 – emailed stuff to attorney!! WHOOHOOO!
– 7/5 – After no response, realized that I sent to the WRONG email again. BLARGH. Re-sent today.

2) Sell craigslist items:
– Wedding Dress
– Stroller snack tray
– Twin Headboard (may keep for a friend until her house is done remodeling)

3) Put up garage shelving (this is DH’s job). It has been in our garage ready to go for at least a year. Harumph.

4) File 2012 taxes. (I know. I know. Ridiculous.)
– 6/29 – emailed all docs to CPA
– 7/2 – CPA said can’t finish until mom gives her the business files; also, she wants to talk to me about some questions. I don’t know what since it’s exactly the same as last year (more or less).
– 7/5 – CPA set up a meeting for Wed 7/10. I further realize that I really don’t like her. What’s the point of me emailing her all my docs if she’s just going to ask me to print it out FFS. I told her I wasn’t going to print out anything. I emailed her for a reason. I think in general, I don’t like older Chinese people doing my taxes. BLARGH. Looks like I have to find a better one come 2014.
– 7/10 – after meeting CPA in person, I like her ok and will likely not find another CPA. She reminds me of my mom. *sigh* Mostly waiting on my mother.

5) Set up safe

6) Have DH Rollover his old 401ks and retirement funds (3)

7) Submit FSA dependent care claim

Clearly, I am the mayor of this establishment. Last night, right before midnight, I became absolutely obsessed with finding out when my infant car seat expired. Then, I got annoyed that my infant car seat expires in 12/2014. It won’t affect baby #3, but that means I will likely have to buy a new one for baby #4. Or scrounge around friends and see if their old car seats are not expiring until end of 2015 or mid 2016.

So what did I do? I spent over half an hour researching infant car seats for a hypothetical problem for a hypothetical baby when my THIRD child is as yet, UNBORN. WTF is wrong with me, besides the obvious?

Carry on, normal people.

I hope all of you are enjoying your day off! Here’s a funny (yet sad) story for your day.

I was putting on a pad for all my pee leakage (Hey, I’m pregnant with my THIRD kid and coughing like crazy) and DS asked me what it was. I told him it was a small diaper in case Mommy peed. DS looked at me sadly and said, “Too big, Mama. You’re too big.”

Seriously, I have too many of these stories just lurking in the back of my brain that if I don’t get them down soon, I will forget them.

1) One time, DD accidentally hit my stomach but DS thought she hit my breast. He said, “Mama, DD hit you in the milk!”

2) DD keeps trying to jump but unsuccessfully. It’s really cute though because she gets on her tip-toes and raises her hands in the air. Then she whooshes her hands and arms down trying to “push off” or take off the ground. heehee.

3) Last week, I had a total parenting fail moment when DS insisted on staying in his PJs and his pullup and refused to get dressed for school. I must’ve spent at least 20 minutes spanking him or wrestling with him. (Let me just tell you, a 3.5 year old who kicks and screams is really hard to dress – even if your husband is helping. We did not win.) He ended up going to school in his PJs. DH changed him at school. I was beyond pissed.

4) Lately, DD is obsessed with her doll. She feeds her, changers her diapers, gives her naps, makes her play the piano. She even gives the doll time outs! Then she hugs the “baby.” heehee. Well, I had texted DH’s brother the pictures and he had to ruin it by saying, “She’s becoming a little girl!” Because you know, girls only play with dolls. Not trains or anything else. FFS. I realize that he meant well, but seriously? That’s just fucking stupid.

5) DD had been saying, “Jajija” or “Jija” for vagina. Recently, it morphed into, “Gina.” Super cute. I don’t know what it is about kids saying the correct names for genitalia – it is HILARIOUS.

6) Now, part of our bedtime ritual is for the kids to talk to (but mostly blow raspberries on my tummy) their little brother. DS2 REALLY loves to respond to his big brother and sister. As soon as they start up, he rolls and kicks and does all manner of wizardry. The kids love to put their hands on my tummy and feel DS2 doing his stuff. So cute.

7) DS likes to quiz me on all the Thomas the Trains and the different engines and to see which tender belongs to which engine. He thinks it’s hilarious when I’m wrong. (That’s his idea of a joke – to have wrong answers.)

8) A few weeks ago, I broke another toilet seat. This is the 3rd toilet seat we’ve broken (I broke the first, DH broke the second, I broke the third) in a year. I mentioned this on FB and a HS acquaintance said that he always thought I had a “big booty” but “dayum!” Seriously, I almost decked him. (Well, figuratively.) I just hate it when people try and so fail to be funny. I would be mildly offended if it were remotely true, but I barely hit puberty in HS – I certainly didn’t have any junk in the trunk. But seriously? Who says that to a 7 month pregnant woman? ONLY AN ASSHOLE.

9) DD has been a holy terror these past few weeks. She throws tantrums and screams and is totally defiant. I just have to remember that DS went through this phase around this age as well. It’s just that he could barely talk so we didn’t know EXACTLY what was on his mind. We have no such problem with DD.

Welp, my pregnancy related lack of sleep is back again. Although, I suppose it’s not fair to say that it’s pregnancy related. I stayed up super late last night to finish TWO yearbooks – but then couldn’t fall asleep at 4:45am even though I was super tired. So is that prego-related or stupidity related? LOL.

But I am super pleased. Only one yearbook left – and the 2012 one will be HUGE because last year, there was a wedding, a Hawaii trip, a Taiwan trip, and an LA/SD trip. Not to mention a photoshoot! So that’s a lot of good family and quality pics that must be included. Plus, I am going to try and do 2013 up through part of May (I’m still missing some preschool shots from May), and maybe start DS2’s baby book (at least the ultrasound and prego shots part). Overachieving much? Maybe I’ll even start next year’s calendar since I’ll have all the pics. To be honest, I’m getting kinda sick of pictures.

Either way, I have to get all this crap done because once the new baby gets here, I’ll get NOTHING done. At least, until I nest for baby #4. I don’t know how I’ll get anything done after I stop having babies. I have been counting on “nesting” to get things done. heehee.
